This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how production, dispatch, and shipping of jewellery orders are handled for retailers using the Ornetta B2B catalogue platform operated by Gold Leaf Pvt. Ltd.

1. Made-to-Order Manufacturing

All jewellery displayed on the Ornetta catalogue is manufactured on a made-to-order basis.

Gold Leaf Pvt. Ltd. does not maintain ready stock of catalogue products. Manufacturing begins only after:

  • order confirmation by the retailer
  • final specifications approval

Because each piece is produced individually, slight variations in final gold or diamond weight may occur during production.

2. Production Timeline

The standard production timeline is typically:

10 – 15 working days from order confirmation.

Some designs may require additional time depending on:

  • design complexity
  • diamond availability
  • customisation requirements
  • order volume

Retailers will be informed if a particular order requires extended production time.

3. Dispatch of Orders

Orders are dispatched only after:

  • production is completed
  • quality checks are completed
  • full payment has been received

Dispatch confirmation and tracking details will be shared with the retailer once the order has been shipped.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping and logistics charges are generally borne by the retailer placing the order, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Shipping charges may vary depending on:

  • order value

  • courier partner
  • insurance requirements

5. Courier & Logistics Partners

Gold Leaf Pvt. Ltd. uses trusted logistics and courier partners for the shipment of jewellery orders.

Once an order has been dispatched, the shipment will be handled by the courier provider. Tracking details will be provided to the retailer for monitoring delivery status.

6. Delivery Delays

While we strive to ensure timely delivery of all orders, Gold Leaf Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including:

  • courier or logistics delays
  • customs clearance processes
  • transportation disruptions
  • strikes or labour issues
  • natural events or unforeseen circumstances

7. International Shipping

For international shipments, additional timelines may apply due to customs clearance and international logistics processes.

Retailers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or regulatory requirements imposed by their respective countries.

8. Shipping Damage

If a shipment arrives damaged, the retailer must notify Gold Leaf Pvt. Ltd. within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs or documentation of the issue.

We will work with the courier partner to investigate and resolve the matter.

9. Incorrect Shipping Information

Retailers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information when placing an order.

Gold Leaf Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect addresses or contact details provided by the retailer.

10. Delivery Confirmation

Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the courier partner, the order will be considered successfully delivered.

Any delivery disputes must be reported within 48 hours of delivery confirmation.
